Screenwriter, film editor, photography director, filmmaker and producer, Fernand Dansereau has had a hand in nearly every aspect of cinema, primarily at the National Film Board, where he put together the French-language team.

The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec would like to thank the Caisse de la Culture and Le Devoir, which partnered for the award of this honour.
