A trapeze artist, choreographer, collaborator with Cirque du Soleil, and cofounder and co-artistic director of The 7 Fingers, this American by birth and Québécoise by adoption has made her mark on the circus world with her substantial imprint.
From Montréal to Paris, from New York to Hong Kong, and from the Olympic Games in Sochi to the Oscars, Shana Carroll has expanded the stage experience from within by combining dance, theatre, acrobatics, and video projections.
Presented on stage, under a big top, on ice, and even on the wall, her achievements triggered the birth of an urban, edgy, intimate circus that is looking to the world and celebrating human beings with sensitivity, intelligence, and humour.
